Been using the O'Neill Mutant 5/4/3 last weekend & earlier this week, its an awesome suit. The idea of being able to remove the hood is a great option. While the water had cooled & the wind was howling Saturday & Sunday I needed the 5/4/3 but not a hood. It was cool to be able to leave it in the trunk. The suit looks like its hard to put on & take off but turned out easier than an up the back zippered suit. It was super flexible, doesn't feel like a Winter Suit. I'm 5'8" & 170 & a Medium fit me like a glove.

Another incredible Winter Wetsuit is the Xcel Infiniti 5/4 with the Drylock System. We have sold about a dozen of them so far this Fall & the reports back are that they are Super Warm & Flexible. She took two torn pairs & made one. The difference was she designed them with wider leg openings so when her son sat on his surfboard the crouch didn't blow out. The idea caught on. today's boardshorts are similar in design, longer & looser fit but they're made of quick dry materials like nylon. The main difference between the Authentic boardshort & the wannabes is the stitching.
